Beekeeping Services
Full Service Beekeeping
Experience the benefits of beekeeping while we take care of the installation, maintenance, and harvest. This service is ideal for those who want to establish an apiary on their property without the heavy lifting. Servicing the Hudson Valley and Connecticut areas.
The Benefits:
POLLINATION
Honeybees are a highly efficient pollinator that travels over a 3 mile radius in search of blossoms. Your garden will thank you.
HYPER-LOCAL HONEY
You keep 100% of the surplus raw honey produced right in your backyard. Honey is a floral fingerprint of the locale it’s made in and no two seasons will taste alike!
MAKE AN IMPACT
Bees play a critical role in our ecosystems and food systems, yet they face more threats than ever. By bringing honey bees into your backyard, you are supporting bee populations as well as a creating connection point between the community and natural environment.
How It Works:
ASSESSMENT:
Schedule a time for us to walk your property, determine if it’s suitable for bees, and answer any questions you may have.
MAKE A PLAN
After evaluating your location and goals, we’ll work with you to develop a beekeeping package that fits your location and needs.
INSTALLATION
Once the plan is in place, we will schedule the installation of the bees on your property.
MAINTENANCE
Every two to three weeks, we will inspect the bees to monitor colony health and perform seasonally appropriate tasks. You will receive a full report after each visit.
HARVEST
We don’t take the bees’ honey until there is a surplus, and we will handle the heavy, sticky work of extracting and bottling for you.
